It was much more common for people in the old days to wear wrist warmers, so why not revive the tradition? Our wrist warmers with “klo” pattern from Setesdal, aka “The Five Wise Virgins” are inspired by the traditional Norwegian “løyesaum” embroidery, which is found in the Folk Costumes and Lice Sweaters from Setesdal. Knit a pair in bright colours and spiff up any outfit!
Yarn: Rowan Alpaca Soft DK or Rauma Mitu,
Needles: U.S. sizes 2-3 and 4 / 3 and 3.5: set of 5 dpn
Gauge: 22 sts and 28 rows in stockinette on larger needles = 4 x 4 in / 10 x 10 cm after blocking. Adjust needle sizes to obtain correct gauge if necessary.
