Designed by ARNE & CARLOS and knitted in Rowan’s Felted Tweed, a blend of 50% wool, 25% alpaca and 25% viscose, and Rowan’s Kidsilk Haze, a mix of 70% mohair and 30% silk, this sweater features a modern Scandinavian motive. This is a new technique for us, which we are calling “Layered Colourwork” and consists of knitting intarsia, but constantly using the Felted Tweed and only adding the Kidsilk Haze on top of the Felted Tweed when necessary. This is so much easier than both regular intarsia and stranded colourwork!
