The pattern for this kid’s pullover that we designed for REDD BARNA (Save the Children Norway), using Norwegian yarn from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk in 2018, is now available for purchase in our webshop! We donate 10 % of all the net proceeds to REDD BARNA, to support the important work that they do for children in need all over the world.

Description

Suggested Yarn: Ask ullgarn, 100% Norwegian woo, 100 g = 315 m / 344 yds. Ask is a high quality 2-ply wool yarn made from Norwegian long staple wool.

Gauge: 24 sts and 30 rnds in stranded colourwork in st st using 3.5 mm/US 4 measures 10 cm / 4 inc square. Adjust needle size as needed to match gauge.

Needle Size: 3 mm/US 2.5 Double Pointed Needles (DPNs), 3 mm/US 2.5 and 3.5 mm/US 4 circular needle 40 cm/16”, 3 mm/US 2.5 and 3.5 mm/US 4 circular needle 80 cm/32” (plus 4 mm/US 6 – if you work stranded colourwork with a firm gauge).
