Our horse is knitted in the round and is almost seamless. Knit the legs first, then attach them together to make the body and continue with neck and head. Finish it off by attaching the ears, mane and tail.
You can knit this pattern in different yarn weights but always using the same needle size to get different sizes. In the last photo, you can see two different sized horses; the brown one is knitted in DK yarn and the patterned one is knitted in one of the Regia 4-ply yarns (fingering weight) that we have designed. Enjoy this super fun project!
